Turkish Consulate General in Houston in collaboration with Port of Houston Authority cordially invites you to the “2016 TURKEY – TEXAS IRON AND STEEL NETWORKING & BUSINESS FORUM” on October 7th, 2016 at Port of Houston Conference Room. The program is organized in conjunction with a Steel Exporters Delegation visit from Turkey to Houston on 5-7 October 2016. The Delegation headed by Namik Ekinci, Chairman of Turkish Steel Exporter Association, will comprise of high ranking representatives of 14 Turkish steel companies.
Given the fact that Turkey is the 2nd largest rebar exporter, 9th largest steel producer, world’s biggest scrap metal importer, the forum will offer a unique opportunity for US companies, exporters, importers, logistics and decision makers to explore business, trade and investment opportunities in/with Turkey and meet with senior Turkish businessmen of leading Turkish business/trade associations in iron and steel industry.

Thursday, December 1st: The 66 Annual AIIS Gala Dinner. We will hold our premier event of the year at The Yale Club of New York City, 50 Vanderbilt Ave, New York, NY. Our members and guests will be entertained by the highly regarded Los Angeles comedian Steve Mittleman. Steve has appeared on the Johnny Carson Show, various national late-night shows, and at numerous functions around the country. Last year we had over 300 in attendance, and we expect this popular event to be another sell-out.
